Orchestra Mute
Pros- small, easy to get on, does take the volume down a notch like it should. Cons- made my violin sound a bit nasally, but perhaps all mutes do that (I didn't deduct a star for this reason). The biggest con is that it slides up and down when it's not in use on the bridge. It can make slight rattling and clanking noises when it does this. It's certainly not a bad mute, but next time I'll try the Spector mute, which I'm told stays in place while not in use.
