A third generation violinmaker, Brian Bishop apprenticed with Keith and Ray Doerr between 1991-94 and an additional two years with Ray Doerr focusing on varnish making and acoustics. When not making, Brian enjoys playing fiddle and is active in the traditional music and contra dance community of Michigan.
