Carlo Lamberti® Symphony Violin

The Carlo Lamberti Symphony Violin is beautiful. Amazing sound quality and lush overtones. One thing I wish could have been better is possibly some better pegs. But of course, looks aren't everything. I can not emphasize how much having good strings can elevate your sound to a whole new level. An instrument is only half of the outcome.

I was at purchasing a violin again after borrowing a friend's for a couple of years. I had taken a hiatus from the instrument to focus on my education in flute. I had my eye on the Otto Ernst Fischer Bianca, but a rep a Shar added this violin to my in-home trial. I was very impressed with the rich and responsive tone this violin produced in this price range. I especially enjoy the darkness in the low register. A really lovely intermediate violin that feels like more than the price tag represents!

I bought a blemished Symphony violin for a student. The finish had been messed up. The Symphony is a beautiful instrument! Well made and a pleasure to play on!

I had this violin on a home trial. I ended up not buying it, but I was still very impressed. It has a great, clear tone, was very responsive and easy to play. Though it is a bit brighter than many other violins I've played. The sharpness of it might not be pleasing to some. Though all in all, it's a quality instrument, even for one that has only been made this year and has yet to be really played in. Had I not already known the cost, I would've guessed that it was priced at much more. I highly recommend it to intermediate to advanced/professional players.
