Chinrest adjuster

Good quality tool. However, it doesn't fit in two of the holes on my chinrest. I'm not sure if it's an issue with my chinrest or the adjustor since it fits the other holes.

Works!

It isn't fancy or glamorous, but it does the job. I noticed that it does not fit in the hole in one side of one of my chinrests, but it fit in the hole on the other side. Odd. Worked fine on my new chinrest. Good price.

great

yeah pretty much a simple tool.works very well, very solid and sturdy. my only complaint is it needs some sort of case/pouch so you can carry it in a case. this picture is deceiving though, it is all silver metal, this pic looks like has wood sides.

So Helpful

It looks like they have updated the picture since the last two reviews. It looks just like it does in the picture. This tool has made my life so much easier as several of my students have had their chin rest fall off. I keep this tool in my case. It doesn't take up much space at all, and it's a huge time saver!

missing link

This chinrest tightener, while inferior to the old brass ones (as in picture), gets the job done. However, it desparately requires some way to fasten it to a chain or lanyard for classroom use. Key rings don't quite work--how hard would it be for the manufacturer to provide a simple chain or metal loop through that tiny hole that is on the tool?
