They offer a sound that is big, powerful, dark, and well-rounded, emphasized lower frequencies and outstanding resonant decay, exceptional projection, high torsional stiffness, and short playing-in time. They also have a very quick response and comfortable left-hand feeling, and are completely insensitive to changes in temperature and humidity.

From our beginnings as a small workplace of craftsmen in Offenbach near the Main River, a modern company has evolved, with over 150 employees. In former times sheep gut was the sole raw material available, but now state-of-the-art synthetics and various steel and non-steel strands, such as gold, tungsten, silver or titanium are used.
