Khachaturian, Aram - Trio for Clarinet, Violin, and Piano - Edition Sikorski
Though he was prolific enough in other categories (film music, for example), Aram Khachaturian only wrote two pieces of chamber music: a string quartet (1931), and this Trio for Clarinet, Violin, and Piano, composed in 1932. Khachaturian's interest in the folk music of Armenia can be heard in the Eastern flavors of the Trio's harmonic language. This edition is published by Edition Sikorski. Difficulty: A6
