Awesome Rosin!

"This rosin fixed my scratchy and breathy sounds that I had up on the higher register of my violin. I noticed a instant difference in the quality of this rosin. I am so happy that I can sound better! I highly recommend it!! I tried several different rosin in the past and this is the best."

Exceeded Expectations

"What's better than the smell of walking through an evergreen forest in the springtime? The smell of pine from Melos light rosin as it brushes against your bow hair. This brand is dedicated to working with all-natural products and contains no sort of abrasives or harsh chemicals. Apart from smelling wonderful, this rosin has a beautiful bright tone with a rougher "grit" or grip on the string. This makes staccato notes, for example, have a sharp distinct "attack" while legato notes are edgy and bright. I compared this rosin to Pirastro Goldflex and prefer Melos light for those who want a same to a better experience than the Goldflex. Plus Melos contains no abrasives so it doesn't end up hurting the strings' coating or violin varnish. Overall, great rosin for those who are looking to "stand out" from a group as it projects quite loudly and distinctly."

Very nice!

I tend to think of light rosins as less grippy than dark rosins, but this light rosin is an exception. It gives very nice bite to the bow and draws an excellent tone. It also has a pleasant piney aroma, which in most rosins is, I guess, refined away in the manufacturing process. My only negative observation is that it yields more gummy powder than some other brands. Overall, I like it very much.
