Your Shar Music rental has a monthly payment equivalent to the amount shown above, plus tax. Ongoing monthly payments will be automatically charged to the credit card provided at the time of checkout. At this time, you may only use a credit card to check out online.

Your first payment is processed on the day you submitted your order, and then on the same date each month thereafter.

You may cancel your rental agreement at any time. Please contact a Shar Music Representative prior to returning your instrument to the teacher, school, or directly to Shar Music so that we may process your request in the most timely manner possible.
 

100% Rental Equity
100% of your rental payments accumulate toward up to 50% of an eventual instrument purchase. Shar Music offers over 50 models of violin, viola, cello, and bass all at fair market prices, not inflated list prices.

Since Shar Music sells instruments at globally competitive market prices and not list prices, a violin offered at a list price of $900 would cost only $350-$450 at Shar Music.

No Hidden Fees!
Shar Music will never add an extra charge for maintenance or insurance! When it's time to trade up, Shar Music gives you your full monthly pre-tax payment as credit towards up to 50% of the cost of a new instrument. At some other companies, you may find that only a portion of your monthly payment can be used after hidden fees are removed.

Note: The Michigan Rental Program is only available to residents of the state of Michigan. Our rePLAY and Sharway programs are available nationwide.

Shar Music will gladly replace your instrument at any time should you encounter any problems. In the event of incidental damage Shar Music will conduct all necessary repairs or an exchange will be made. Shar Music will replace any string that breaks on your rental instrument during the duration of the rental contract. Shar Music staff will determine the string brand at the time of replacement. Shar Music will be unable to replace instruments in the event of malicious or negligent damage or theft.
