Very good light
Never having used a portable light for piano before, I borrowed this from a violinist. What a revelation. The only reason I returned it is that I also ordered the "orchestra light" by the same maker, wanting to know what worked best for the piano. I chose to keep the orchestra light because it illuminates 4 pages! This light is wonderful if you have nothing else, especially for music stand. You won't believe how lightweight it is to carry in your case.
Mighty Bright Encore Stand Light
I think the light is excellent. Easy to transport in my gig bag, and enough light to cover my full stand. Might be a bit scant on an oversize (3- or 4-sheet stand), but plenty wide for my standard Manhasset stand. I like having both the ac adapter and battery power.

Great light but it sure would be nice if the bag had a handle!
Better Than Expected
This is much more than what is pictured here. The light comes with an AC adapter with a nice long cord and a good zippered case to keep the whole thing together. It's plenty bright enough to use in a darkened room (like stage light in a pit) or when playing by candle light. The light easily covers two facing pages of music. It works on batteries, too, so if AC is not available you can go with that.
