Mighty Bright Orchestra Music Stand Light in Black

Great product, well made, sturdy, elegant and even comes with a case, batteries and power supply. The LED's are pure white, and don't create any glare on my pages. Very happy.

I bought this to go with my (THIRD) Nilton Magic music stand. (The first two I left at gigs and they're so cool never get returned). I just tried them out together last night and I'm VERY pleased. First LED solution I've used with sufficient brightness to illuminate the whole desk (and off to the sides), yet there's an under-side lip to avoid blinding the audience, even when they're at a lower level. The clip allows it to fit comfortably over the Nilton stand's top edge (which my Manhasset light never did). No bulb to break or burn out. And the three AAA option will make it easy to use and move around on a casual when no plugs are convenient. So far, nothing but praise for this product. The "dim" setting isn't really much dimmer. I almost don't see the point in that. Perhaps it'll allow the batteries to run longer. I'll use them both on a gig this weekend. I can't wait to leave my heavy, bulky Manhasset stand and its delicate stand light at home, in favor of this pair. Having the right tools just makes things so much easier.

I have purchased many different "gig" lights and this far exceeds any of them. Sometimes I have 3 pages up on my stand and it illuminates all of them. It has made a world of difference at dimly lit functions-it's wonderful to see again! I really enjoy that it can be plugged in as well when there is access to electric.

I am very pleased with this stand light. It is very bright and solidly constructed. The carry bag which came with the unit was a bonus!

I bought this for myself and have been using it in my studio. It is cheaper than bringing in an electrician to put in an overhead light and now my students and I can see!! I love the carrying case so I can take with me to gigs and that it has a plug in or battery option!

To amend my previous revue, Mighty Bright did honor their warranty and will replace my light. I'm still sad that the led lights aren't replaceable, but who knows, perhaps the replacement light will last longer than a year. This is a nice light and is very helpful in a dim room. I also appreciate that having the warranty honored was actually quick and painless.

I bought this light as I kept getting stuck in a dark corner while playing at church. It worked perfectly and lit both pages. During our candlelight Christmas Eve service, I could see my music and my light was not a distraction to the service. I use the brightest setting most of the time, but the dimmer setting for the candlelight service. The light works with batteries or can be plugged into an electrical socket. It comes with a nice storage bag. It is not too heavy, so it isn't an issue when carrying your instrument.

This could have been a 5 star item except that a year after purchasing 3 of the lights have become intermittent and sometimes are out. We took the head apart to see about replacing the burned out bulbs, but unfortunately one would have to purchase an entire set of lights, cut a wire, and then solder the wires back in. I sent an email to Mighty Bright requesting information about replacing the lights but to date they have not responded. If you aren't worried about longevity, this was a great light with carry bag and and plenty of brightness. I'm very sad to have to replace it. For $59 I should have received more than one year of lighting. If it turns out I can replace the bulbs I will be happy to amend this review.
