Mulko Plastic Violin Chinrest - Large Plate

The hatches on this give it some good "grip"and was recommended by a teacher who uses same. Still deciding between this and another chin-rest but given the reasonable price I'm keeping as a backup at minimum. I would rate a 5 if available in ebony.

I purchased this chin rest because the current chin rest on my violin was much too tall for my body type and it was cause odd neck pains. It felt like a skylift! Once I switched out to this little dandy of a chin rest and my neck pains disappeared. I found it to be quite comfortable and it gets the job done without any flair. Changing out the chin rest was quite easy and it comes with a chin rest key tool. The price is good and it shipped quickly. I just recently received this so I am giving it a 4 out of 5 stars for now. Once I have had it one for awhile and see how it holds up I may write a follow up review.
