F. C.'s Jig is from the album "Appalachia Waltz" featuring Mark O'Connor and Yo-Yo Ma. O'Connor utilized the third movement of his "Fiddle Concerto" and arranged from it a violin and cello duet, which is also available for violin and viola. The result is thrilling - a virtuoso duet full of melody, interplay and energy, pushing both instruments all the way to it's conclusion. "F. C.'s Jig" is a spirited, well known derivation of the "Fiddle Concerto's" jig.
